Trainer Meaghan's Philosophy on being an Athletic Trainer:
I will provide excellent care to the athletes that I work with, maintain dedication to my profession of Athletic Training, and continually improve my practices as an Athletic Trainer. Through continued education and the use of evidence based practices I will gain better insight into my foundational skills and learn new practices to assist my athletes with injury prevention, acute care, and the rehabilitation process. I will continue to support my profession through membership of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association and attendance at annual meetings and symposiums. I have natural talents for; being calm and capable in emergency and stressful situations, for having empathy for the struggles that athletes face, and for attaining goals and deadlines in a timely manner that I will use to my advantage in my professional career.
